Our brand-new quad 4×4 vehicles are ideal for those who want to explore the hidden gems of nature safely and differently. Our offer includes tours lasting 1, 2, or 4 hours. The one-hour tour offers a pleasant drive through the beautiful landscape and the remains of the rich history of Kastavština. On the two-hour tour to the source of the Rječina, you will have the opportunity to pass through more technically demanding and exciting forest roads that offer a wonderful view of the Kvarner Bay and the islands of the northern Adriatic. Our longest tour lasting four hours attracts all true lovers of nature and adrenaline junkies. Anyone who chooses this tour embarks on a journey through time and pure off-road adrenaline fun. The drive through the untouched evergreen forest over the tame plateaus and the so-called Grobničke Alpe to Platak will convince you why this tour is our best-selling excursion to date.
The quad you pick up (rent) is in perfect driving condition and has a full tank of fuel. It needs to be returned in the same condition as previously mentioned.
The person renting the quad bears the cost of fuel.

KASTAV FOREST TOUR

The Kastav forest, in addition to offering a one-hour pleasant off-road drive, reveals all the beauty of nature and peaks from which you can see a beautiful landscape, and along the way, you can discover the remains of the rich Kastav history;
– A stone cross with the inscription “In memory of peace 1918” erected after the end of World War I,
– The abandoned village of Cari, where you can see the remains of buildings that are an example of the forgotten autochthonous architecture in Kastavština,
– Remains of the Italian guardhouse at the former border crossing between the Kingdom of Italy and the Kingdom of Yugoslavia.
– Stanić peak (465m), which offers an unforgettable view from Učka over the mountains of Gorski kotar and Velebit to the sea and the islands of Cres and Krk,
– A shelter dug into the rock by Italian soldiers and a stone chapel,
– The town of Kastav with its rich history dating back to Celtic times, is fortified by a medieval rampart with nine defensive towers, which offers a view of Opatija and its hinterland.

RJEČINA SPRING TOUR

For all those who are eager to explore hidden gems of nature and experience more technically demanding and fun parts of the roads in a slightly different way, this two-hour tour offers an ideal mix of adrenaline excitement, and enjoyment of the natural beauty of the Kvarner hinterland.
We will drive along the old Italian road to the pit “Golubnica” known for its dark and grim history.
We will pass through the small town of Studena, which according to folklore was founded by the soldiers of the defeated Tatar army in the battle on Grobnik field.
We will encounter the old Roman wall built in 6 BC by the emperor Augustus, which stretched from Rijeka all the way to the border with Slovenia.
We will reach the Kičej hill, from which there is a view of the Rječina valley, the ridge from Lubanja to Kamenski vrh, the islands of Cres and Krk, and the grassy slopes of Ćunina glava and Hahlić.
From Kičej hill we will descend to the Rječina spring (Zvir) where we will have a break so that we can rest and take some pictures.
Until 1870, the Rječina spring had its source in a different place. But unfortunately, a catastrophic earthquake occurred that year, which buried the existing spring, and later on it erupted in the place where it is now.
On the way back, we will pass through Kukuljani and Trnovica and stop at Lončeva griža, from the top of which there is a view of Kastavština, Grobinština, the town of Grobnik, and the entire Kvarner bay.

GUMANCE – TRSTENIK – PLATAK TOUR

This is our longest, four-hour long route that will captivate you with its landscape variety; from the dense evergreen forest, over the tame plateau and the cold mountain spring in Trstenik that never dries up, to the mountainous regions of the so-called Grobničke Alpe. Anyone who chooses this tour embarks on a journey through time, as a beautiful variety of landscapes and pure off-road fun await. On this tour, it is possible to arrange lunch at Mali dom in Platak. There you can enjoy the beautiful terrace and fresh air. Lunch is paid additionally with a 10% discount on the full price.
